You can easily tune your own bike and ive had my chain on my bike for years likes its not that expensive however it doesnt mean it isnt annoying to sort your own chain out

Worst scooter I ever bought. 400 klm i just over 12 months and the battery will only charge to 52v (half full). Apollo are of no help.

But then if the main sell point of the bike is that it’s lightweight so it can be used as a regular bike, then why put a belt on it? Now you can’t even change gears unless you somehow install an internal gearbox.

A bicycle chain will last the entire life of the bicycle, as long as you lube it properly, especially on a bike with a derailer and tensioner.

Tuning your bike chain derailers is not that hard. Once you learn how to do it, you can maintain your own bike. Oiling/greasing a chain is not that hard, and if you do it properly, not like a sloppy pig, you will wipe off the excess and won't have that grease mark on your leg.

I love that front brake not being set up properly.... squeek! Most shops will do a derailleur adjustment for $15-40 per, depending on the location of the shop. There's a big difference between a shifter adjustment and a tune-up. Note that he's riding this on flat ground, depending on the wattage of the motor and voltage of the battery it may struggle in a city like seattle. Additionally, internally geared hubs require tools to take off, and flat fixes can be a lot harder for at home fixes. Good shot framing and product placement. Bummer on the misinformation.

Design goes to the Knight..but if you look you probably got their base model to compare, the Knight is the highest model of all the chopper scooter frame from that manufacturer. Will has some scooters that are beast and only for the MSRP of the Eahora M1PS Knight 😅. I have an M1PS Knight and love it, but facts is facts. One day I'll turn my Knight into the Dark Knight and have it top out at 80mph with a range of 100miles...#p45b

The Carbo Model S, however, has 9 gears and chain driven. Theoretically, with the same motor, shouldn't spinning the pedals on the Model S in the 9th gear be faster than the fixed gear Model X?

Try to go around big holes like that. Don't go over them. I got the Segway ninebot Max G2 and that has dual suspension and I wouldn't even go over that hole.

As someone who has used both types of tires, I absolutely prefer solid tires. I wish more e-scooters used solid tires with suspension. That's the ideal solution. If I had to choose between air-filled tires or solid tires without suspension, I would choose solid tires. No flats and no maintenance > smoother ride.
